Spliced Veneers.

Veneer jointing methods include:

Bookmatching method

In the bookmatching method, veneer is selected and joined by placing two sheets of veneer opposite each other in mirror image (similar to an open book, hence the term “bookmatch”).

Arrangement method (laid/pushed/lined up)

Arranging the veneer sheets next to each other contributes to a calmer appearance of the veneer. This results in a repetition of the veneer structure without symmetry.

Overlapping method

It is used in particular for root veneers, which give a very decorative surface and look. Four consecutive sheets of veneer are assembled to form an image and then overlap.
